Overview

Advanced training on Check Point NG with Application Intelligence. This course presents topics as auditing and alerts, load sharing, VolP, content control, encryption and VPNs, certifying entities. VPNs through clients (Securemote and SecureClient). It is the recommended training to obtain the CCSE (Check Point Certified Security Expert).

Who should take this class

Security Administrators, security managers, and network engineers implementing and administering the VPN-1/FireWall-1 for VPN solution and wish to obtain the Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) NG certification.

Prerequisites:  

• Knowledge of Windows NT/2000 and/or UNIX,
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience with TCP/IP and the Internet
• VPN-1/FireWall-1 management I (CCSA) certification course

• How to install and configure VPN-1/FireWall-1
• How to generate security alerts using VPN-1/FireWall-1
• How to configure and implement VPN-1 SecureRemote and VPN-1 SecureClient to remote access VPNs
• How to set up VPN-1 desktop security policies for VPN-1 SecureClient and how to use “Security Configuration Verification” (SCV) to guarantee VNP clients security.
• How to use the VPN-1 SecureClient Packaging Tool, for easier software installation, configuration and distribution
• How to use digital certificates to establish reliable relations in VPN environments
• Content-security options, including URL and Java filtering

• Installing VPN-1/FireWall-1
• Setting up of VoIP
• Setting up VPN-1/FireWall-1 to support VPN implementations
• Setting up VPN-1 SecureRemote and VPN-1 SecureClient for remote-access VPNs
• Setting up personal Firewalls with VPN-1 SecureClient to secure VPNs remote access
